Events

When booking onto an ILP, YLP or Regional event or training, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions highlighted below:


ILP National Free Events/Training

Joining instructions will be sent by email. If you have not received details within 48 hours of booking please contact the events team.

We reserve the right to alter the programme. In the unlikely occurrence of an event being cancelled the ILP will not refund any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.

The ILP does not accept responsibility for accident, injury or loss suffered whilst attending events. The ILP reserves the right to refuse entry.

Your details (name, job title, organisation, postal address and email) may be included on an attendee list which will be available to relevant parties.


ILP National Paid Events/training

This booking constitutes a legally binding agreement and by booking a place you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

Cancellations and Substitutions

Cancellations must be received in writing 6 weeks before the event is due to start. You will receive a full refund minus an administrative charge of £50 plus VAT. No refund can be made within the 6 week period.

Substitutions can be made in writing and when full payment has been made. You must notify us in advance.

Payment

Payment must be made in advance of the event and within 30 days of invoice. If a booking is made less than 30 days before the event, full payment must be made by return.

ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma

This booking constitutes a legally binding agreement. Course fee refunds will be given for written cancellation or postponement received by the ILP 12 weeks before the date of the relevant Module. A £75 admin fee will be charged for cancellations or postponements. Refunds after this date cannot be made for any reason, although substitutions will be accepted if notified in writing before the event. The ILP reserves the right to change the programme. Payment in full must be received before course start date.


Regional and Young Lighting Professionals Events

The ILP reserves the right to alter the programme. In the unlikely occurrence of an event being cancelled the ILP will not refund any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.

Joining the ILP as an Affiliate member, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

By ticking the terms and conditions you confirm that you should be accepted for the grade of membership Affiliate, you will uphold the values of the Institution of Lighting Professionals, and confirm that you have read and will conform to the ILP Code of Professional Conduct.
