The ILP’s Premier membership are committed to promoting high quality CPD material within the Institution and will be supporting this by hosting a series of CPD workshops at the forthcoming Professional Lighting Summit on the 14 and 15 June.
Seven Premier members will be presenting a variety of hot topics, from verifying photometric data to the contentious issue of colour temperature in LED street lighting. We invite you to join and support this programme and have your say during hands on and interactive discussion groups.
All workshops will take place on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow, accompanying the main programme of papers.
WSP will launch the series about the Kruunuvuori Bridge project in Helsinki on Wednesday at 15:40 followed by Kingfisher Lighting on the Thursday at 10.40am with a talk about maintenance factors and the facts behind the figures. Cree Lighting then follow at 11.30am with a presentation on good optic control-and the difference this can make for significant energy savings. DW Windsor follow swiftly behind at 11.50am with the implications of retrofitting installations with LED and not getting caught in the CE conformity trap.
Designs for Lighting will open the Thursday afternoon programme at 12.10pm with an interactive workshop on choice of colour temperature in LED street lighting giving the opportunity to involve live audience feedback and featuring working examples.
We then continue with OrangeTek’s lively debate on ‘Myth Busters’ at 13.30pm shedding light on contentious subjects from surge protection to CE certification.
Finally, UL will partner with Relux at 14.10pm to discuss how verified photometric data can provide the highest level of trust and transparency for the industry.
The event has three sponsors who are also providing workshops. Click here to download the workshop programme.
