24 January 2018
Alan Jaques, ILP President
The Executive Board is very pleased to announce that Tracey White will take up the position as Chief Executive of ILP from 3 April 2018.
Tracey succeeds Richard Frost as the Chief Executive. Richard has guided the Institution for 24 years, overseeing the transition of the Institution from the Institution of Lighting Engineers to the Institution of Lighting Professionals. Richard will be on hand to support Tracey as she starts to understand the Institution. The Executive Board would like to express thanks to Richard for his stewardship and commitment to the Institution during his time with us.
Tracey is joining us from the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA), where she is currently their Director General. Tracey is experienced in carrying out an ambassadorial role and is used to engaging directly with government and other influential organisations. In Tracey, the Executive Board is confident that they have found a Chief Executive who will help our Institution flourish and become more influential across all our sectors.
‘I am delighted to be joining ILP at such an interesting time in its history. I look forward to meeting and working with the Board, staff and the wider membership when I join in April to achieve further success in the years to come.’
I am sure that you, along with the Executive Board and the team at Rugby, will wish Tracey every success in her new role.
