The ILP Professional Lighting Summit provided a wealth of information and initiatives to make life as a lighting professional easier.
We announced ways to keep your citizens safe by following ATOMS, which replaces TR22; opportunities to get involved with CPD on a local level with our just-launched network of flexible volunteer run 'Lighting Delivery Centres'; data to analyse the state of street lighting now AND unveiled a surprise chance to use virtual reality to explore future public realm lighting possibilities.
We also held the ILP Annual General Meeting, installed our new President and revealed our new Technical Director.
100% of delegates who took part in the event at Newcastle’s Life Science Centre said they would recommend it to a colleague, telling us
- "there are a lot of opportunities to learn and get involved"
- "it's an ideal place to network with fellow professionals and indulge in copious amounts of CPD"
- "has excellent CPD, a good exhibition and is great for networking, so what more could you ask for"
The ILP now encourages all attendees to build from this by adding their attendance to MyCareerPath CPD recording system and plan their next development steps.
