ilp appoints new vice president education image

The Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP) is pleased to announce that Kimberly Bartlett EngTech AMILP MIET has been appointed to the voluntary role of Vice President Education. Kimberly, who began her lighting career in 2007, is currently a Senior Lighting Engineer for WSP.

Kimberly said ‘joining the ILP Vice Presidential team is a true honour. I look forward to carving out a bright new future in education for the Institution and carrying on the good work initiated by past Vice Presidents.’

ILP Senior Vice President and the previous Vice President Education, Anthony Smith commented ‘I’d like to welcome Kimberly to the Vice-Presidential team. As pressures on lighting professionals increase we need to ensure that the ILP’s educational programme is structured to develop competencies and expand skills whilst being accessible and affordable. Kimberly will bring experience, drive and enthusiasm to this key role.’
