by Margareth Sunjoto S.T. MSc and Peter Raynham

Traffic signs conspicuity is essential to provide information to drivers. How signs stand out from competing information depends on the context, which is increasingly varied in modern environments, the aim of this study is to investigate the effect of several parameters on traffic sign conspicuity in urban scenes. The findings can be used to inform traffic sign design and placement in urban areas.
