Presented by Peter Bell from Lancashire County Council

Many Local Authorities have started or are considering large scale replacement programmes and Peter will provide an update on the recently issued TSRGD

15.00 – 15.30 Technical Paper 2 – Illumination of Signs in the LED age

We live in an age where LEDs are all around us. Some sectors have been quick to adopt the benefits that LEDs can bring in terms of reducing energy requirements. The Highways sector has been at the forefront of this acceptance and reaps the benefits of reduced expenditure whilst the technology has facilitated a leap-forward in product performance. Jonny Winward will provide an insight as to how a manufacturer of products which illuminate road signage goes about making use of the latest technological advances in LEDs.

The cost for this meeting is £5.00 .Please note that because of catering and coach arrangements it is important to notify the secretary if you are attending this meeting by the 11th September and if you have any specific dietary requirements please advise when booking your place.
